Use this activity to target vocabulary and concepts related to landforms. Students first learn about each of the landforms and think about how they might use classifiers to describe them in ASL. Then, they organize them into categories and think about what they do and do not have in common. Finally, the vocabulary is reinforced when they label the Polaroid pictures of different landforms that they “took” on a trip.
