Use this activity to target reading comprehension, vocabulary, and written language related to dog breeds. The first page contains vocabulary cards and pictures of the breeds targeted in the book. Pages 3-7 contain the book about the different breeds, which can be cut out and stapled together. The next two pages cover personality traits. Students must brainstorm adjectives to describe the dogs’ personalities and them match the adjectives with the dog they think they describe. The final page synthesizes all the information together in a writing task.
