Fall Language Sessions | Ages 2-4
This 7-week series is designed for deaf and hard of hearing (DHH) children and their families to support the development of receptive and expressive language through group intervention. Sessions are led by a licensed speech-language pathologist and a Deaf professional, and incorporate naturalistic, play-based activities and parent instruction.
Families participate alongside their child during each session, learning practical strategies to support language development beyond the therapy setting. Intervention may target areas such as vocabulary, early language concepts, receptive and expressive language, narrative skills, social communication, and family-child interaction. The series is designed to provide consistent, intensive support while equipping families with the knowledge and strategies to foster language growth in everyday routines.
Deaf Carnival | Language Group for 2-7 year olds
Families will enjoy carnival-inspired games, hands-on activities while learning and using ASL, building language skills, and connecting with others in a lively, language-rich environment.
This session will be run by a Deaf interventionist an ASL-fluent speech-language pathologist.
Signs of Fall | Fall Festival
Join us for fall-themed activities, hands-on play, and opportunities to learn and use ASL together. Come connect with other families while exploring all the sights, colors, and signs of fall! This session is for DHH children ages 1-10 and their siblings.
This session will be run by a Deaf interventionist an ASL-fluent teacher of the deaf.
Pumpkin Pals | Language Group for Ages 2-5
Join us for a hands-on pumpkin adventure! Children will explore real pumpkins inside and out through sensory play, simple investigations, and engaging activities designed to encourage curiosity, build new concepts, and support language development in ASL.
This session will be run by a Deaf interventionist and an ASL-fluent speech-language pathologist.
Haunted Hands | Ages 2-8
Join us for a family-friendly haunted house! This not-too-scary haunted experience is filled with silly surprises, sensory play, and opportunities for language building. Costumes are encouraged!
Haunted Hands is designed to be festive and exciting without being overly scary, perfect for little ghosts, goblins, witches, and monsters who want to join in the Halloween fun!
Gather and Sign | Language Group for Ages 6+
Gather with us for an ASL Thanksgiving celebration! Families will enjoy festive games and hands-on activities inspired by gratitude and friendship.

Thankful Little Hands | Language Group for Ages 1-5

Arctic Explorers | Language Group for Ages 1-5
Join us to explore the Arctic and its animals through hands-on, ASL-rich activities. Kids will meet a real Arctic explorerand learn about her adventures in ASL! This group is for Deaf and hard of hearing (DHH) children ages 5-10.
This session will be run by a Deaf interventionist, an ASL-fluent teacher of the Deaf, and and ASL-fluent speech-language pathologist.
Snow Much Fun Signing | Language Group for Ages 1-5
Join us for a winter celebration filled with frosty fun! Children will step into a world of sensory play and cozy seasonal fun, all with ASL woven into the adventure.

Signing Santa
Join us for hands-on winter activities, language-rich play, and a meet-and-greet with signing Santa!
This session is for DHH children ages 1-10 and their siblings.
S’More Signing | Language Group for 1-5 year olds
Pack your imagination and join us for a cozy camping adventure! Families will step into a pretend campsite for campfire fun and hands-on activities in ASL.

Signing Under the Sea | Language Group for 1-5 year olds
Join us under the sea to meet mermaids and other sea creatures! In this session, language comes to life through ASL, sensory exploration, and ocean adventures.
This session will be run by a Deaf interventionist an ASL-fluent teacher of the deaf.
Summer Language Immersive | Ages 0-5
Join us for a language-rich summer experience featuring 3 hours/day of skilled intervention in ASL for Deaf and hard of hearing children. Through immersive, hands-on experiences, children build language, confidence, and connection in a fully accessible environment. This immersive will be held July 6-10 from 9 am - 12 pm.
ASL Movie Night | Sing
Join us for popcorn, pizza, and the movie Sing with ASL interpretation via Sign Up! Children can cuddle up with blankets and pillows and enjoy an accessible move experience while parents unwind, chat, and sneak a few bites of pizza too!
This event is for children of all ages. It is free, but registration is required (we want to make sure we have enough pizza and drinks!).
Derby Day: Signs and Strides | Language Group for 1-5 years
Come celebrate the excitement of Derby season as we explore horses, races, roses, and all things Bluegrass—through fun, hands-on activities and engaging sign language experiences. This group is for DHH children ages 1-5.
This session will be run by Joanna (Deaf interventionist), Karen (signing TOD), and Kinya (signing SLP).
After our Derby Day session at the ELC, we’ll be heading to Churchill Downs to watch horse racing! Don’t miss this unique experience!
Open House
Join us for a welcoming Open House at our new Early Language Center in Kentucky. Come explore our space and see how we’re building connection and strong language foundations together. Drop in any time from 12-3 pm. Light refreshments will be served.
This is a free, drop-in event, but registration is required to ensure we have enough food!
