Consults are offered in 30-minute sessions over the phone or via Zoom. The session is intended for the consultant to gather information on your clinical needs and the type of Deaf or hard of hearing population you serve. After the consult session is complete, you will receive an email from your consultant within 5-7 business days with resources and/or professional recommendations to best help you serve the Deaf and hard of hearing student(s) on your caseload.

Laura Sankey-Balta, MS, CCC-SLP is a speech-language pathologist who has worked at different schools for the deaf. She received her B.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Pittsburgh in 2017 and her M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology from Saint Louis University in 2019.
