Consults are offered in 30-minute sessions over the phone or via Zoom. The session is intended for the consultant to gather information on your clinical needs and the type of Deaf or hard of hearing population you serve. After the consult session is complete, you will receive an email from your consultant within 5-7 business days with resources and/or professional recommendations to best help you serve the Deaf and hard of hearing student(s) on your caseload.

Heidi has been an educator for more than 20 years. She received her Ed.D. from Lamar University in 2018. She specializes in early language acquisition, ASL/English bilingual education, and literacy. She also directs research on research ethics and teaching preparation. Heidi is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Deaf Studies and Deaf Education at Lamar University.
